About Hilary

Hilary’s career has also included teaching art for many years. She is a member of the National Art Education Association, the Maryland State Education Association, and the Maryland Federation of Arts. Her work has been exhibited in juried shows in Maryland and South Carolina, where she received 2nd place in the state for her multi-media painting of rocks.

Her painting of a familiar Lowcountry scene also earned recognition. She painted a wrecked and abandoned oyster boat in the marsh, and this painting was selected as the cover of Island Events, a guide to Hilton Head Island. Hilary’s artwork resides in private collections in Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio, and Georgia.
